Château La Croix des Gûnes at the 1st Bordeaux & Nouvelle-Aquitaine Independent Winemakers’ Wine Fair in Antwerp

Château La Croix des Gûnes at the 1st Bordeaux & Nouvelle-Aquitaine Independent Winemakers' Wine Fair in Antwerp

From April 24th to April 26th, 2026, for the first time, nearly 60 independent winemakers and wine producers from Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine will gather in Antwerp to welcome true wine enthusiasts. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore and taste an incredible variety of wines, reflecting diverse personalities, terroirs, and flavours.
Among the participants is Château La Croix des Gûnes (formerly Château Guges), proudly presented in the HAUT-MÉDOC section at booth E03.

We are delighted to present to the discerning public the exceptional wines of Château La Croix des Gûnes, a true benchmark among Bordeaux wines. These creations are the faithful expression of a unique terroir, benefiting from fertile soils, a favourable climate, an exceptional geographical location, and the expertise of our highly qualified oenologists.

It is with pride that we present our wines at national and international fairs, highlighting their remarkable assets: herbicide-free cultivation, HVE 3(High Environmental Value) certification, vinification in thermoregulated concrete and stainless-steel vats, and aging in oak barrels for two years. These practices of excellence have earned us numerous prestigious awards.

Our recent successes are a testament to this: in 2024, we won three Gold Medals — one at a world competition for our exceptional 1785 vintage 2020, and two at the National Competition of Independent Winemakers in Paris for our L’Héritage 2019 and 2020. We are also proud to recall that our 2018 vintage was crowned with a Gold Medal in 2022, further demonstrating the consistency and high quality of our wines.

The distinctive qualities of our wines include:

  • HVE (High Environmental Value) certification, underscoring our environmental commitment
  • Zero herbicide use in the vineyards
  • Old vines with an average age exceeding 60 years
  • Manual and selective harvesting
  • Délestage (rack-and-return) performed four times daily during alcoholic fermentation
  • Aging in oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months
  • Blending (assemblage) carried out only after the barrel aging process
  • Multiple prestigious awards from national independent winemaker competitions
  • A commitment to preserving tradition while embracing innovation
  • Direct sales to a growing international clientele

We will be delighted to welcome you at our booth E03 to share a unique experience and celebrate this wonderful premiere.
